January 30, 2010 - Raposo Baby Annoucement
October 25 - 556 Powell Street Mural
During the time we spent painting we got to know some of the residents of the building and neighbourhood, they were incredibly warm and everyone had something to tell us, it was a lot of fun. The first person we met was a man named Ken with his friendly Jack Russell terrier, known as J.R. (for Jack Russell). The original concept included a chocolate lab, but in honour of Ken and J.R. we changed it to a Jack Russell, Ken even helped us paint him and we've heard from a few people how proud he is of his dog, and the mural.

January 25, 2009 - Printable Valentines are HERE. I really have a love-hate relationship with Valentines, on the one hand, it's so wasteful to create tons of disposable product, and inevitably singles are left out or at least made to feel extremely self-conscious; but on the other it's nice to make people feel loved. I admit that I LOVE the designs and treats that go along with it. So my solution this year is a couple of fun simple Valentine cards, as easy-to-use printable PDFs (a nine-year-old tested and approved them...thanks Anneliese). It's a throwback to my elementary school days of cutting out colourful greetings from one sheet of paper. The idea is that these cards don't require any resources except for the paper you print on and the ink used to print them. There is no shipping required because they are sent by email, and no stock needs to be printed, stored, delivered, etc. and you can print as many as you want. Delivery time is significantly sped-up and there are no shipping costs; resulting in great value, convenience, and use of minimal resources. For a limited time, here's a free sample of one small card only. The full versions make use of the full sheet of paper and include envelope templates. Make sure you read the instructions before printing.
